"Dim Sum Basket"
This is a nested jewelry piece where the ring is a locket that resembles a small Dim Sum basket, with a "sweet bun" necklace pendant hidden inside.
The ring is fabricated with sterling silver, with the basket top weaved with fine silver strips.
It comes with a pair of removeable wooden "chopsticks". The “sweet bun” pendant is Mother-of-Pearl set on sterling silver. A sterling silver necklace chain is included.

"Viking Warrior Princess"
This is a member of my "Women Around the Word" ring collection.
The main material of the ring is sterling silver. A yellow Cubic Zirconia adorns the center of the helmet. The face is made from carved Buffalo horn, and the horns on the Viking helmet are carved Buffalo horn inlaid with New Zealand Paua shell, both from a Balinese artist.

"I am keeping an EYE on you"
Just for the fun of it! This ring is a rotating shaft reciprocating machine. With over 30 soldering joints and dangling moving parts, it is an extensively engineered statement ring. You will not be bored wearing it. Everyone will be drawn to this toy on your finger. It's a ring, and it's a pendant - just turn it around and use the ring shank as the bail. A leather necklace is provided.

"Tiffin Dabba"
Tiffin Dabba is an Indian style lunchbox. Years ago I watched a documentary showing the workers in India receive hot lunches made by family by lunchbox delivery men called “Dabbawala”. This piece of jewelry is my recreation of that lunch experience. My Tiffin Dabba is made of sterling silver and brass lining and appliqués. A sterling silver spoon is the locking mechanism to secure all the boxes together. The “food” is made of polymer clay. Each rice grain, broccoli spear, Snow pea, and berry is individually rolled, shaped, and baked. This balanced meal is much better prepared than my real food cooking! The assembled Dabba (as shown in the photo) can be worn as a necklace pendent on a chain.

2019 MAGG Bremer Design Challenge 2nd Place Winner
"The Offbeat Quartet"
The Theme is “Play”, and materials given are: copper & silver sheets, brass strip, jump rings, bead chain, acrylic sheets, copper braid, sterling tubing.
I enjoy classical music and play some of the percussion instruments. This theme took me down the musical path. All materials are used to make:
Cello brooch (copper sheet, copper braid, bead chain, blue acrylic)
Clarinet pendant (silver tubing, jump rings, pink acrylic mouth piece)
Xylophone bracelet & earrings (brass strip, pink acrylic)
Timpani drum set ring & earrings (silver sheet & wires, yellow acrylic)

2017 MAGG Bremer Design Challenge 2nd Place Winner
"It's a Frog's Life"
The theme is "Transformation", and the materials provided are: copper and silver sheets and wires, steel spring, wooden dowel, glass cabs, brass washers.
The “Transformation” theme is expressed in 3 ways:
1.The lifecycle of a frog is a continuous transformation. With all the design components together, it showcases 4 stages of a frog’s life - Egg, Tadpole, Froglet, and Adult Frog.
2.The functionality of the piece is transformable. The Frog can be worn independently as a brooch, and a pendant when hanging on the Torc. The Froglet is a ring, but also can be attached to the torc as part of the necklace design (as shown).
3.All raw materials are used and transformed into this wearable sculptural art.

"Modern Day Connectivity"
The theme is "Connectivity". This piece interprets the theme conceptually and literally.
• The copper jewelry box represents a PC as a communication device. Inside the box you’ll find a ”computer screen”, which is a pendant, with modern application icons. The Internet (globe icon) and software technology connect people around the world. On the keyboard side there is a pair of hands (earrings) surfing the net.
• Various “connectivity” techniques are used: checkerboard soldering, sweat soldering, hinge, riveting, wire wrapping (left hand), chains (right hand), and melting silver scrap on copper to form the “globe”.
The copper sheet is rolled into various thinner gauges to construct the box and the pendant.
The sterling silver sheet is rolled ~24G to make the icons, and the hand earrings.
The sterling silver tube is used for the box hinge, and the bail for the pendant.
The silver wire is used for rivets and pulled to ~20G for the earrings. The silver mesh is made into the bow on the left hand.
The pipe cleaner is made into the word: “Connectivity” and attached to the “keyboard” side of the box with copper rivets.
The only added material is a short 10G copper wire as the hinge pin.
